One of the cities where Tibetan youths have come in search of work is Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. This video highlights two different businesses owned by Tibetans who have moved to Chengdu: 1) Charu Workspace, established by Tsering Tashi and his friends in 2015, where Dondrub has worked as a coffee maker for two years; and 2) Aje Drogmo Tibetan Café, owned by Tenpa and his wife Lhapar. The video illustrates some of the ways in which Tibetans are seeking new opportunities in the cities, while also trying to maintain and sustain their traditional cultures.
