In collaboration with the Endangered Language Project, the Language Vitality Initiative has launched “A Stream of Voices,” an article series sharing the stories of effective language practices by communities and their advocates.
The program's goal is to enable adults to become speakers who, in turn, may pass the language to others, especially as older first-language speakers become fewer and fewer.
In 2018, an awareness-raising and training workshop with youth led to a program focused on revitalizing the Iyasa language.
